Neuropathy means that the peripheral nerves are not working properly. There are many reasons why this may happen. We often think about diabetes being the main reason, however lower back arthritis, bulging discs and spinal stenosis may also be the culprit. The symptoms of neuropathy may be quite varied, ranging from sharp shooting pain, tingling and burning or just an absence of feeling in general. There is no cure for neuropathy as we know it, however management is the key.
