Dr. Erin Kutvoelgyi has over 20 years of clinical experience in treating feet and ankle disorders. She focuses on preventative and conservative treatment rooted in a foundation of compassion and education with respect to foot care. Although she is no longer performing surgery, she can offer a surgical consult or second opinion as she is board certified in foot and ankle surgery from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Erin received her Bachelors degree from University of Massachusetts Amherst. She received her degree in Podiatric Medicine, in San Francisco, with an emphasis on the biomechanics of lower extremity. She then completed a three year surgical residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven Connecticut, with a focus on diabetic limb salvage.
After residency she came to Pennsylvania and began working in a large, multi-office group setting. This was a wonderful transitional step to private practice of podiatry, however there were far too many constraints. Now with almost 5 years of being a solo practitioner, Dr. Erin enjoys the balance of practice and home life. She is now able to care for patients as she sees fit. If she’s not in the office, she will be working in her garden, dog walking or traveling with her husband.
