Evaluating for a foot or ankle fracture begins with a clinical exam and a X-ray. Digital X-Ray will show a fracture immediately, where as a stress fracture can take several weeks to “show-up” on a X-Ray. Often times fractures are managed with a Cam Walker or a Walking Boot. Depending on the severity of the fracture surgical correction to reset or stabilize the bone may be required.
